Functional Wellness

As a functional diagnostic nutrition practitioner, my goal is to get to the root cause of your health issues. During our work together, I teach how the body was originally designed to function so you can be proactive as your own health advocate. Instead of throwing medications at an issue, my goal is to help the body’s natural healing ability. Functional medicine does not suppress symptoms of the body; it gives the body the support it needs.

As we work together, you’ll discover that our focus is not just on what you eat, but also on how various aspects of your life – such as sleep, exercise, stress, and relationships – influence your well-being. This holistic view allows us to create a comprehensive wellness plan tailored to your needs and lifestyle.

What to Expect

  • We will first discuss any concerning symptoms you are having, your current lifestyle and diet, and what goals you hope to accomplish.
  • We will then go over an extensive health history intake, including any past lab work if available. I may recommend lab work to get a clear picture of your health status.
  • I will make lifestyle recommendations, discuss foods or supplements to implement into your diet, and any other protocols that could benefit your overall wellness.

Remember, this is a collaborative process. Your active participation is key to success. Alongside my guidance, you’ll learn to make informed decisions about your health, developing habits that will serve you well in the long run. The ultimate goal? To help you regain balance, boost your vitality, and reclaim the vibrant health that you deserve. Let’s embark on this transformative journey together!

Brandi HollidayFunctional Diagnostic Nutritionist
After finishing massage therapy school, I worked for a chiropractor and then decided to try nursing school. Two years into it, I was reminded why I went into alternative therapies. I always believed there had to be a balance between holistic wellness and medicine, so I began looking into more functional medicine. I took more classes in myofascial release and neuromuscular therapy, and received a diploma in Osteo Manual Practice which includes muscle energy therapy, craniosacral therapy and more. I also learned how to perform pregnancy and infant massage and Thai bodywork.

When I massage, I use a combination of these techniques to tailor what I believe the body needs to address its musculoskeletal needs. I found the missing link to total holistic wellness when I found a program called Functional Diagnostic Nutrition, which taught me how to help clients with diet, rest, exercise, stress reduction, and supplements.

Take some time. Treat yourself. You deserve it.
